Gain real-world experience by working directly with the UCLA Epicenter team. Enhance your career prospects while earning UCLA course credit.

These quarter-long projects focus on data science and internal UCLA initiatives, enabling undergraduate students to tackle campus-centric business challenges and graduate students to address industry-specific data science problems. Past projects have included developing AWS-hosted WordPress websites and creating machine learning models to predict sales trends and to optimize inventory.

Migration of the Epicenter websites from Squarespace & Google Site to AWS WordPress

Migration of Latino Policy & Politics Institute (LPPI) Mailchimp lists to Salesforce and Pardot

Did you know that you can earn credit for ENGR 188 or PSYCH 195B during the fellowship?

You can earn academic credit for internships by enrolling in ENGR 188 for engineering internships or PSYCH 195B for psychology-related positions. These courses provide hands-on experience while helping you progress toward your degree.

To enroll in PSYCH 195B, you must secure department approval, submit an application, and complete weekly reflections or a final report summarizing your learning. For ENGR 188, apply first, then request a PTE number from the instructor.
