I know it’s been several months since the Innovation Challenge with AWS and Slalom, but I just wanted to reach out and thank you once again for giving me the opportunity to participate last Spring. I just got an offer for a job I was really hoping for, and my experience with the Bootcamp you coordinated really made a difference in helping me stand out!! My interviewers were super interested in the Challenge and the skills I picked up by participating, so it was a key topic during the interview process. It would not have been possible for me to learn so much and have such a valuable experience to not only put on my resume but speak about during my interviews without your coordination and hard work in setting it up and giving me the chance to join.

… thanks so much for organizing this program for us and staying behind to talk to our team about our parking solution. We would love to continue reaching out to UCLA Transportation and schedule a meeting with them to give them our pitch on this app we’re so passionate about. And our plan is to reach out to startup UCLA as you had suggested as well. It’s been a great opportunity to get connected to some very important and influential people.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for organizing this whole experience with AWS & Slalom and cultivating a space where we learned real world skills directly in contact with the industry. It was an amazing experience, and through a short 5 weeks I was able to learn so much about the product lifecycle, design, and effective pitching. I also got to meet a lot of great people that I wouldn’t have otherwise and learn from their mentorship and experience! I want to thank you for putting so much work and effort into the Tech Bootcamp. The resources and the amount of guest speakers was impressive and very informative. I appreciate how well the program came together and provided a microcosm of what I imagine the tech industry & startups to look like. My team coach was amazing. He asked our team poignant questions, and gave us amazing feedback and connections.

I participated in the Bootcamp in Spring 2021 on the HealthTech team. I just wanted to reach out and say thank you again for the opportunity to learn from so many different professionals on different tools and the process from an idea to a prototype. That experience was the first domino to fall for me as a Physiological Major at UCLA, and now I’m a Masters student in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. I’ve been taking a year long Biomedical Innovations class here, and have been using a lot of what we learned in the Bootcamp. Just wanted to reach out and say thank you for taking a chance on me. It really changed the trajectory of my future career and what I want to achieve in the world.

I’d like to say thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of the Tech Bootcamp this Spring Quarter! I was amazed at every meeting of the amount of professionalism; the premium quality of the speakers, health experts, and coaches; as well as how much I could learn in such a short amount of time. Most of all I was amazed at the passion that you can instill in students through this program. It was truly an amazing experience that has opened my eyes to the possibilities that tech offers, and this experience will definitely alter what I look to do in the professional world.

I was able to talk about the bootcamp in many of my interviews and definitely could not have landed the role without that experience. This program is my first real world experience with business and working in an agile environment. I love your enthusiasm every week during our Fall session, and you are one of my greatest inspirations to get into entrepreneurship.

I actually just confirmed an internship with a blockchain company called Data Gumbo yesterday! …Definitely could not have done it without the bootcamp. In most of my interviews I spoke about our homelessness project!

Just wanted to send a thank you as well as quick update on me. Our program helped a lot with summer internship MBA recruiting. I was able to speak to project work for LA County, and running through the Design Sprint process was helpful – learning by doing. In short, thank you for an awesome program. MBA recruiting was a tough 6 months. I was able to receive product management summer internships to Nvidia and Amazon, and will be (fingers crossed COVID does not impact) at Nvidia remotely this summer.

I just wanted to update you to let you know that I recently received a product management internship at a startup. I just started two weeks ago and so far, it’s been really fun and exciting because of the different projects I get to work on! Alongside that, I also participated in Product Hacks and won first place! I honestly want to thank you so, so much because if it weren’t for the product bootcamp and all of your help, I would not be where I am today.

I just wanted to thank you for putting the tech bootcamp together — I talked about it a lot during interviews, and now I’ll be interning at Microsoft as a PM this summer!

I just want thank you for creating and maintaining this program for students like myself. When I applied in the beginning of the year, I was sure I won’t get in because of my year, which many view it as lack of experience. However, you gave me the chance to attend such an awesome bootcamp that taught me so many hard and soft skills. Actually, after this program, I’m really want to pursue, or at least try out, the path as a PM or technical PM despite my initial thought of pursing a route as software engineer.
